Overview

PixelPix lets players spawn, train, and battle tiny voxel creatures in the real world. Our launch film blends live‑action plates with glowing pixel monsters to instantly show the core loop—discover, build, fight. The result: a 60-second punch of wonder that makes you want to tap “Download” now.

Our Role

We handled concept, script, on-location shoot, 3D pixel creature design/animation, VFX compositing, edit, and sound—end to end in 2 months. We engineered every beat for scroll-stopping first seconds and crystal-clear gameplay comprehension. Delivery included cutdowns for paid ads and social teasers.

Problem

Retro pixels, unclear hook.

In a crowded game market, “retro pixels + AR battles” can sound gimmicky and confusing. PixelPix needed a story that made the mechanic obvious and the IP unforgettable—fast. Attention had to convert to installs, not just nostalgia clicks.

Solution

Show, don’t tell—in three beats.

We crafted a micro-narrative: cubes appear, creature materializes, battle ensues—no VO needed. Bold voxel FX and practical camera moves anchor the fantasy in the real world, proving the game’s promise visually. Every frame sells the hook: create it, own it, fight with it.
