Proposal
Hours in Excel. Minutes in Meridian.
Executive Summary
A cinematic brand film built to be chopped. The hero cut tells the full story — a finance professional's 2AM Excel nightmare transformed by Meridian's AI modeling layer. But every scene is designed as a standalone ad unit: the pain montage becomes a 15-second retargeting clip, the product reveal becomes a demo ad, the transformation becomes a testimonial-style cut. One shoot, one film, a full quarter of ad creative.
Scope of Work
Hero Film + Ad Derivatives
60-second hero film in 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 formats. Each scene is designed to standalone as a paid media asset — yielding 6-8 ad derivatives from a single production. Targets LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Pre-Roll, Meta retargeting, X, Product Hunt, and website hero.
The 2AM Error
Extreme close-up: bloodshot eyes reflecting a massive Excel grid. Pull back to reveal a finance analyst at a desk, coffee cups stacked, monitors showing spreadsheets. A #REF! error flashes red. Clock reads 2:14 AM. Ad cut: 15-second pain point awareness ad for cold audiences.
The Spiral
Rapid montage: fingers frantically clicking between 47 tabs. Formulas like spaghetti. A DCF model with circular references. Copy-paste across sheets. Manual consistency checks. Each cut faster than the last. Ad cut: 15-second 'day in the life' paired with Scene 1.
The Breaking Point
The analyst pauses. Circular reference warnings flood the model. Everything breaks. Screen goes dark. Text: 'There has to be a better way.' The emotional hinge that makes the transformation land.
The Meridian Moment
Screen lights up — Meridian's interface. Clean, investment-banking blue. The same DCF model, but the AI agent builds it conversationally. Formulas auto-populate. Consistency checks run automatically. Blue inputs, black formulas — the conventions finance professionals trust. Ad cut: 20-second product demo ad for warm/retargeting audiences.
The Proof
The analyst leans back. Model complete, consistent, auditable. Ratio analysis auto-generated, financial statements linked, sensitivity tables built. Timestamp: 4 minutes. Clock reads 2:18 AM. Ad cut: 10-second bumper — just the clock with the tagline.
The Close
Analyst closes laptop. Walks out. City lights through the window. Meridian logo on dark background. Tagline types out: 'Hours in Excel. Minutes in Meridian.' Universal outro stitched onto every ad derivative.
